Sports airplane crashes into factory building in Germany

BERLIN - A sports airplane crashed into a factory building near the airport in the German city of Bremen, local media reported Friday.

Citing police reports, Radio Bremen said the airplane crashed shortly after taking off. Passersby saw several explosions minutes after the crash.

Three to four passengers were reportedly on board. The fire made it difficult for rescue service to access the affected.

Bremen airport has been temporarily shut down as a result of the crash.
