PYONGYANG - Top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un has overseen a flight drill by the Korean People's Army (KPA), the official KCNA news agency reported Thursday.
In the drill, the KPA's jets performed taking-off and landing, targets intercepting and special aerobatics, said the report.
Kim boarded a plane that took part in the drill and asked in detail about the engineering data. He also had a conversation with a pilot.
He then discussed with senior officers of the KPA air and air defense forces about how to better cope with modern wars.
It is the third time that Kim has inspected the army since he reappeared in public on Oct 14.
