EU offers Tajikstan aid for pension reform

DUSHANBE - The European Union (EU) handed over IT equipment worth 894,000 euros ($1.11 million) to Tajikistan on Monday to help its pension reform, said the EU mission in the country Tuesday.

The aid will be used to support the IT modernization of Tajikistan's pension system administration.

The aid is part of a comprehensive EU Human Development Support Program II worth 30.5 million euros (37.9 million dollars) over the period of 2014-2017.
