China, Britain face new opportunities of cooperation
LONDON -- China and Britain now face new opportunities of cooperation as agreed by leaders of the two countries, said Chinese ambassador to Britain Liu Xiaoming at a seminar on Wednesday.
Speaking to some 250 audience from various sectors in Britain, Liu highlighted new opportunities for China-Britain cooperation.
They cover market access, two-way investment, free trade agreement, financial cooperation, science and technology, consumption capacities, development of central and western China, cultural and people-to-people exchanges, urbanization development and medical care.
He urged the British people, whatever sector they are from, to not miss the moment to actively expand exchanges and cooperation with China in all fields.
"There are immense mutual gains if you ride on the train of China's comprehensively deepening reform."
He was confident that the two countries would enjoy win-win results from China's continuous growth.
Liu also answered questions on Sino-British financial cooperation, investment, land reform, and legislative system construction.
