Young TV producer crowned Queen of Amazon tribe
Meet the London girl who is now a real-life Queen of the Amazon after marrying a tribal warrior.
Adventuress Sarah Begum (26) travelled to the heart of the Ecuadorian jungle on a mission to make a film about the tribes she would encounter. Little did she know they would insist she married one of the tribesmen so she could be crowned their Queen. People of the tribe hope that this symbolic marriage would help increase awareness of the intrusion by energy companies.
