NEW YORK - The NYPD says an NBA player, his wife and another woman were stabbed and injured outside a Manhattan nightclub.
Police say they sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized. Their names weren't immediately released.
It happened just before 4 a.m. Wednesday outside the 1Oak Club on West 17th Street.
The stabber was taken into custody. Two other people were arrested on charges of obstructing governmental administration.
Police say the NBA player was stabbed in the abdomen. His wife was stabbed in the arm and slashed across the breast and buttocks.
Police say the two were arguing outside the club when a group _ including the other injured woman _ interfered. They say a verbal dispute ensued with one man pulling out a knife.
The knife was recovered.
