HANOI - Visiting Chinese Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli met with Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on Friday, and both sides expressed willingness to fully implement consensus reached between their leaders.

Zhang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said the two countries have been earnestly implementing the consensus reached between the CPV chief and President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, during Trong's visit to China in April.
