Netherlands king enjoys local flavors of Yan'an

Dutch King Willem-Alexander visited Yan'an in Northwest China's Shaanxi province to see local efforts to conserve water and soil on Tuesday during his first five-day visit to China after he became the king.

Besides visiting a villager's home in Fangta village to understand the lives of local people, he also listened to an introduction to conserve water and soil through afforestation in Loess Plateau by Liu Guobin, director of Institute of Soil and Water Conservation under Chinese Academy of Sciences and Ministry of Water Resources.
