Tuesday marked The Light of Internet Expo's firs day in Wuzhen. Audiences lined up at the Hangzhou Enter Electronic Technology Co Ltd booth to try its app controlled racing car.
The Kether Mind Controlled Slot Racing Car can analyze the concentration level of the user's brain. As soon as the concentration level reaches the minimum requirement, the racing car immediately starts moving. The more concentrated the user's brain becomes, the faster the car starts moving.
According to the company's marketing director, Bi Sheng, Hangzhou Enter Electronic Technology Co Ltd invented the algorithm by applying standards based on scientific research.
In July, more than 2,000 sets of family catering race cars rolled out into the market. Consumers can buy this 1-meter-by-1.5-meter race car set online for 1,699 RMB ($262). The company has also set up retail stores in Beijing, Hangzhou, Changsha, Jiaxing, and Weihai to give consumers a chance to try them before purchasing them.
Apart from family racing sets, the company is working with department stores and science museums all over the country. Various cooperation with large organizations helped the company to break even in less than two years' time. Even Samsung has reached out to the company earlier this year. They had great interest in the mind controlled racing car.
Bi also told Chin Daily that next March they will come out with a mind-controlled eyeshade for office workers. The eyeshade will play different genres of music for office workers to sooth them or wake them up.
Established in June 2014, the company employs 21 people (nine of which are responsible for research and development). Most of the R&D specialists have either studied overseas or are graduates from Zhejiang University, the most renowned electroencephalographic school in China.
In July, the company received a Pre-A round financing worth 10 million RMB.
