WUZHEN, Zhejiang province - President Xi Jinping delivers a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Second World Internet Conference (WIC) held in the water town of Wuzhen in East China's Zhejiang province on Wednesday.
Xi said that China was driven to ensure the Internet not only benefited the Chinese people but also the wider world.
China is preparing to implement cyber development and big data strategies, and the "Internet Plus" action plan in the next five years, Xi said.
