Events with Xi:

• Greet Xi on behalf of the Queen at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and travel with the president to Horse Guards Parade
• Meet with Xi, view a display by The Prince's School for Traditional Arts and meet students, have tea at Clarence House

Visit to China:

1997

Prince Charles attended Hong Kong's handover from Britain on June 30–July 1, 1997, but the Prince of Wales has never come to the Chinese mainland.
