Exhibition showcases diversity of young Chinese artists

Instead of painting the bamboo leaves, "Still Life -Bamboo" series only depicts the stem in order to weaken the nature of bamboo as a plant but strengthen the nature of bamboo as a "thing". The artist is seeking for the spiritual nature of bamboo, as well as looking for a sincerer way of aesthetics. In the pursuit of purity, the artist removes the human spirit from the material world. Therefore, she selectively chooses some simple geometrical shapes as the carrier, which can resonate with different audiences.
