Gold-panning couple to marry with ring made from spot where they met [Photo/IC] |
A fiancee is ready to rush to the alter after her husband-to-be painstakingly panned for enough gold at the spot where they met to make her engagement ring.
Devoted George Maciver, 53, spent a year sifting through sediment in the Scottish Highlands, after deciding to make the ultimate romantic gesture to his bride-to-be, Tina Lear.
The pair, who met two years ago while panning for gold at the same spot during a group trip, are now set to become husband and wife after George proposed with the ring.
