On the launching ceremony, in order to attract more children to participate in the activity, Nestlé specially arranged funny games according to characteristics of children, such as "FunnySteeplechase", "Nutrition Porter", and "Cross Fire" and so on.

When the game started, all the children got involved with high enthusiasm and every game attracted a lot of students. Ms. Wang Chunling, principal of The Second High School and The Second Primary School Affiliated to Shandong University said,"I have dealt with kids most of the time over these years. However, with the advent of electronic and intelligent products, their bodies have firmly clung to these attractions, they spend less and less time on exercise and some of them even do not exercise at all unless when forced to.My concern was that in the long run, the children will not only become rusty physically, but also mentally."

The Second Primary School Affiliated to Shandong University has never stopped its exploration on how to mobilize the enthusiasm of the kids on exercise. "Nestlé Healthy Kids Global Program"was launched here, thus providing a perfect opportunity for changing theirunhealthy status.

Expert: Physical exercise and healthy diet are the two magic weapons for growth

At the launching ceremony, Professor Du Songming, the Deputy Secretary-General of Chinese Nutrition Society said that with the improvement of living standards, the level of children's diet has been greatly improved, however, richness ofnutrition does not mean balance of nutrition. What's more, exercise seems to havebecome a slogan and more and more children become too lazy to exercise. In this sense, "Nestlé Healthy Kids Global Program" carries a lot of responsibility and mission.

Healthy Kids Questionnaire and new-edition teaching material were also issued at the activity. More than 2,000 children filled out the questionnaire at site. Based on the important theories of the "Healthy Kids Program", questionnaire and teaching material and results of their application will facilitate more comprehensive and objective understanding of their physical conditions andprovide them with useful guidance.
