Death toll in central Vietnam landslide rises to 4

HANOI-- Rescuers have found two bodies of the missing persons in a deadly landslide in Vietnam's central Khanh Hoa province early Tuesday morning, bringing the death toll to four.

Local Phap Luat online newspaper reported Wednesday that the latest victims are a mother and a son who were killed in their totally-buried house.

According to Dao Cong Thien, vice chairman of Khanh Hoa people's committee, rescue forces with over 300 people and many vehicles have worked hard to seek all the missing.

Other six injured victims remain in critical condition and are being treated in hospital. The landslide left six houses totally collapsed and five heavily damaged, reported Phap Luat.
