Magnitude 5.3 quake hits central Italy

ROME - An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit central Italy at around 10:25 (1025 GMT)on Wednesday, European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported.

It could be felt in Rome.
