Genworth shareholders to vote on Chinese acquisition

A special shareholders' meeting of the US insurer Genworth Financial Inc will be held on Tuesday to vote on the company's proposed acquisition by Chinese real estate conglomerate China Oceanwide Holdings. In October, Genworth agreed to be acquired by Oceanwide for about $2.7 billion.

White House to resume tours after brief pause

The first public tours of Donald Trump's White House will begin on Tuesday. All three branches of government-executive, legislative and judicial-will have their headquarters open to the public. The tour includes a 13-minute orientation film and stops at the Capitol's crypt, rotunda and National Statuary Hall. The tours were temporarily canceled due to the change of administration.
