Chinese pianist playing Mendelssohn in London

Chinese pianist Sunny Li will be the soloist at An Evening with Mendelssohn on Friday. The Hornton Chamber Orchestra under conductor Jacky Wong will present two of Mendelssohn's early works. The performance will be in St James's Sussex Gardens in London.

Hunan delegation in the UK seeking business partners

The China-Britain Business Council is hosting the One Belt, One Road Hunan-UK Business Seminar 2017 on Thursday at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in Knightsbridge. It will feature a delegation from Hunan province's government and several large businesses as well as representatives from the Chinese embassy and chamber of commerce. UK companies are invited to attend so they can find out more about opportunities for collaboration.

Global greening set to greet colorful St. Patrick's Day

Friday marks St. Patrick's Day, an important holiday for Irish people. It is an Irish tradition that people wear green on the day. More than 100 city landmarks around the world, including four in China, will be lit up green on Thursday evening in a concerted Global Greening project organized by Tourism Ireland in coordination with local Irish embassies.

Asian crafts and foods on sale at annual pop-up fair

The annual Asia House Fair runs from Thursday to Sunday on London's New Cavendish Street. The pop-up bazaar will feature more than 30 stores, selling unique items, including original and ethically-sourced food, clothing, fabrics, art, and jewelry.
