Xi: Economic globalization should benefit all countries, social strata

DA NANG, Vietnam - Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday called on the members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) to make economic globalization more open, inclusive and balanced, saying that it should benefit all countries and social strata.
Xi made the remarks while delivering a keynote speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit in Vietnam's central city of Da Nang.
Free trade ports
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday said China will explore the opening of free trade ports while granting more power for reform to its existing pilot free trade zones.
Equality to all businesses registered in China
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday pledged equal treatment to all businesses registered in China, as the country is opening up wider to the outside world.
Adhering to opening-up
China will not slow its steps in opening up itself, President Xi Jinping said.
China will work with other countries to create new drivers of common development through further promoting the Belt and Road Initiative.
