7 signals released from 'No 1 Central Document'

China's central government has set out a package of policies aimed at setting in motion the revitalization strategy for rural areas under "No 1 Central Document" of the year on Feb 4, according to Xinhua.

The "No 1 Central Document", referring to the first policy statement of the year released by the central authorities, has been devoted to agriculture, farmers and rural areas for the 15th year in a row.

Let's take a look at what signals were released in the document.

1. The document for the first time proposed the diversified development of the rural economy should be realized

To cultivate a batch of family workshops, handicraft shops, rural workshops; to encourage the establishment of environment-friendly enterprises in rural areas; to realize the diversified development of the rural economy and to provide more jobs.
