China-Austria ties at a glance

Since signing the agreement on scientific and technological cooperation in 1984, the two sides have conducted extensive project cooperation and personnel exchanges in the fields of medicine, remote sensing, forestry, new materials and environmental protection.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Austrian Academy of Sciences have achieved fruitful cooperation in the field of quantum physics, especially in space quantum communication and quantum physical experiments.
