Should looted relics be put up for auction?

International museums must return them to their rightful owners, because they have no moral right to own and display such masterpieces pillaged long ago. This of course is a thorny question for museums in the US and Europe: how many of the objects in their collections were stolen or acquired illegally, and how many should be sent home?
