Top 10 cities attracting talent in early 2018

Small cities across the country bet big on talent, though Beijing remained at the top spot on the list of the most competitive Chinese cities in terms of influx of talent in spring 2018, according to online recruitment website Zhaopin.com, which claims it has over 140 million users.

Seven of the top 10 were second-tier cities, as smaller places scramble for talent that can help upgrade their corporate landscape.

Chengdu overtook Shanghai and Guangzhou to emerge as the second-most competitive destination for career-minded Chinese, according to the website.
