Zhuang Chen, a second-year graduate student at Peking University, said "being in a relationship is not an easy task, and I want to get it right".
"I'd rather be happy and single than unhappy in a relationship," he said.
Zhang Xiaofeng, a sophomore at Wuhan University, said his busy schedule at school keeps him from meeting and dating new people.
"After a long day's study, I feel more like putting on pajamas and crawling into bed than going out into the uncertain and anxiety-provoking world of meeting people," he said.
