6.0-magnitude quake hits off Sumberanyar, Indonesia

NEW YORK, Oct. 10 -- An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted 40 km northeast of Sumberanyar, Indonesia on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.35 km, was initially determined to be at 7.4489 degrees south latitude and 114.4525 degrees east longitude.
