China’s top 10 employers in 2018

Forbes magazine released "Global 2000: World's Best Employers 2018" on Oct 10, 2018, with Google's parent company Alphabet topping the rankings for a second year. A total of 84 Chinese companies entered the 500 best companies list this year.
To determine the list, research firm Statista surveyed 430,000 employees worldwide. All the surveys were anonymous, allowing participants to openly share their opinions.
The United States took 185 spots in the top 500 companies, while the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan have 84 on the list, mostly from industries such as energy, infrastructure construction, finance and technology. Chinese tech companies Netease, JD, Tencent, Alibaba and Vipshop are all in the top 500. Let's take a look at the country's top 10.
