Fortune ranks 100 fastest-growing companies

The Fortune magazine recently published its latest top 100 fastest-growing companies listed in the US stock market in 2019.

Among them, 32 are from the science and technology sector, taking the largest chunk of the top 100, equaling the number last year. Meanwhile, the growth of once-dominant energy sector continues to lag behind.

The average age of the companies ranked on the list is 38, and 29 percent is the average rate of return in the last three years and 14 percent of the Standard & Poor's 500 stock index in the same period.
