Cooperation is the way forward for the world, says Xi

The achievements of innovation should benefit the whole world instead of being hidden treasures in the cave, President Xi Jinping said in Beijing on Friday.

He made the remark when addressing foreign representatives attending the 2019 New Economy Forum.

China and the United States currently have some disputes over innovation cooperation, Xi said, but the key to resolving them should be reaching consensus through dialogue and carrying out innovation cooperation, instead of suspicion and mistrust.
