The sound of Chinese zither, xiao - a vertical bamboo flute, modern dance and vocal resonance combined together like a piece of tridimensional ink painting opened the curtain of an art of living exhibition at Today Art Museum in Beijing on Dec 15.

Called 'Where Do You Come From', the exhibition is co-sponsored by Art Display & Decoration Committee of China and the museum.

It is divided into two sections: the Orient and Unbounded. A total of 33 artists and designers are participating in them with installation art, furniture, natural rock and so on.

"This exhibition is a beautiful combination of the oldest and the latest art, presenting the poetic charm of Chinese culture, the goodness and beauty of Oriental mind," Chinese literary scholar Wang Linhai said.

The exhibition will last until Feb 13.
