5.3-magnitude quake hits New Zealand: USGS

BEIJING - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 178 km ESE of Raoul Island, New Zealand 0207 GMT on Saturday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 29.62 degrees south latitude and 176.1014 degrees west longitude.
