Yang Jiechi to visit Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan

Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will pay visits to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan starting from March 1, the Foreign Ministry has announced.

Yang, also the director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, will hold talks with presidents and foreign ministers of the three countries, ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told a daily news briefing on Friday.

Zhao said Yang's visits will advance the relationship between China and Central Asia, and push forward cooperation in various fields between China and the three countries.
