Buttigieg ends presidential campaign

WASHINGTON - Former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg said on Sunday night that he is ending his presidential campaign two days before the Super Tuesday cluster of primary elections.

Buttigieg, who launched his presidential bid in April 2019, won the most delegates in the contentious Iowa Democratic caucuses, the first nominating contest of the 2020 US presidential primary.
