A nationwide online activity encouraging livestream hosts to help fight poverty was launched on April 15.
The event is co-organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Zhejiang provincial administration of cyberspace affairs and other departments.
It will include influential online hosts to help promote products and agricultural produce from poverty-stricken areas, especially those severely hit by COVID-19. Online discussions will also be organized to explore creative methods helping these regions through crises and economic difficulties.
Applicants, who must be between 18 and 45 years old, can get more information from the activity's official website. The application window will be open until June 30, and it is also available for overseas Chinese.
Online polls and panel judges will also determine outstanding hosts in the activity, who will receive awards.
