BEIJING - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 252 km west of Ferndale, California at 07:02:34 GMT on Monday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 40.8281 degrees north latitude and 127.2301 degrees west longitude.
