China steel futures close higher

SHANGHAI - Steel futures closed higher Thursday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.

The most active construction steel rebar contract for October 2020 delivery was up 48 yuan ($6.85) to close at 3,726 yuan a ton.

The most active October 2020 contract for hot rolled coils, mainly used in cars and appliances, was up 46 yuan to close at 3,718 yuan a ton.
