China's Ministry of Commerce made a preliminary ruling on Thursday about an anti-subsidy probe on wine imports from Australia that such imports received subsidies from the Australian government, which caused substantial damage to the domestic wine-making industries.

In accordance with Anti-dumping Regulations, China announced to carry out a provisional anti-subsidy measure on wine imports from Australia starting on December 11.

The import operators, when importing wine products from Australia, shall pay corresponding security deposits to Chinese customs in light of dumping margin determined by this preliminary ruling.
