Passenger plane grounded after hitting tractor at Pakistan's Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD -- A passenger plane was grounded after it hit a tractor and got damaged at the Islamabad International Airport, local media reported Monday.

According to the reports, the passenger plane of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) hit a tractor at the airport when it was being moved by a tug master to a runway.

An official from the PIA confirmed the incident to local media, saying that the incident took place when the tug master got cardiac arrest while he was towing the plane to the runway.

The collision damaged some parts of the plane, including the Very High-Frequency antenna, said the official. However, the official refused to share the details of the damaged plane.

The tug master was rushed to a hospital for treatment, the reports added.
