China's anti-dumping measures against Australian wine were conducted in accordance with the World Trade Organization rules and Chinese legal procedures, as investigations showed dumping of Australian wines has caused substantial damage to the domestic wine industry, said Gao Feng, spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.

China decided to impose anti-dumping duties ranging from 116.2 percent to 218.4 percent on Australian wine for a period of five years, starting from Sunday.
