UAE Embassy to China supports UAE designers and brands at Emirati Fashion Days 2021

The UAE Embassy to the People's Republic of China joined with Hala China and China Fashion Association to support the showcasing of emerging local fashion talents from across the UAE at Emirati Fashion Days 2021.

This innovative event will bring the best UAE traditional and modern fashion designers and fashion houses to Chinese audiences keen to see unique designs and Emirati styles. Participants from across the UAE are joining Emirati Fashion Days through a combination of livestreaming and video-led brand content from short video platforms.

Dr. Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, the UAE Ambassador to China, said at the event: "Emirati Fashion Days provides a perfect opportunity for Chinese people to see the best in Emirati traditional fashion and also modern designs, expertise, resources and creativity."

He continued, "The UAE is a great believer and stakeholder in open globalized trade through the Belt and Road Initiative. I believe Emirati Fashion Days 2021 will create exposure for style across both markets and further growth of both Chinese and Emirati fashion industries."

Emirati Fashion Days 2021 includes more than 10 homegrown UAE brands and will run from April 3 to 11. Through this virtual event, sustainable e-commerce practices, short video platforms and advanced technologies will be utilized to present virtual fashion showcases, providing a safe and sustainable approach.
