Chinese caviar producer Kaluga Queen set a new Guinness World Record for the "World's Largest tin of Caviar" in Shanghai on Monday.
The feat was achieved after the company stuffed 62.9 kilograms of 15-year-old caviar into an egg-shaped container.
The former world record of 50.08 kg was set by hotel Atlantis The Palm in Dubai in 2017.
Six varieties of caviar products were also launched at the event: 7-year Classic, 8-year Rarity, 9-year Light Luxury, 10-year Exclusivity, 15-year Ultimate luxury, and 20-year Supremacy.
Founded in Zhejiang province in 1998, Kaluga Queen produced the country's first tin of aqua cultured caviar in 2006. According to Wang Bin, the founder of Kaluga Queen, the company currently produces 35 percent of the global supply of caviar.
