Bodies of two tunnel workers found in Zhuhai tunnel flood

The bodies of two workers trapped in Shijingshan tunnel in the Zhuhai special economic zone in South China's Guangdong province were found at about 3:38 pm on Monday. Efforts continue to locate and rescue the 12 other workers who remain trapped.
According to a statement released by the on-site rescue headquarters, after several days of efforts, rescuers found two of the trapped workers 1,060 and 1,070 meters away from the tunnel entrances, respectively.
But medical identification indicated the two workers had no vital signs.
And on Monday morning, Zhang Yisheng, vice-mayor of Zhuhai, said at a press conference in Zhuhai that rescuers will not give up search and rescue of the workers who have been trapped in Shijingshan tunnel since early Thursday morning.
The tunnel, part of the southern section of the Zhuhai Xingye Expressway, flooded at about 3:30 am on Thursday.
