China Red Cross donates flour to hungry Afghanistan

The Red Cross Society of China recently donated 130 metric tons of flour to its Afghan counterpart to help the country through its severe food crisis. 

Previously, the society donated emergency materials worth 10 million yuan ($1.57 million) to the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

The Red Cross Society of China said that it will keep a close eye on the situation and the needs of Afghanistan, and provide the country humanitarian assistance as best it can.
