2 killed, 15 injured in blast near police vehicle in SW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - A blast hit a police vehicle in Pakistan's southwest Quetta city on Wednesday evening, killing two people and leaving 15 others injured, local media reported.

According to the reports, the explosion took place near a police vehicle in a busy market located at the Fatima Jinnah Road of the city, capital of Balochistan province.

Police, security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and the injured to a hospital.

A rescuer told the media that the death toll might rise further as several of the injured were in critical condition.
