China's customs authorities will pay close attention to the impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on trade, to facilitate normal trade and economic cooperation between China and the two countries and other related ones, said Li Kuiwen, a spokesman of the General Administration of Customs, at a media conference in Beijing on Wednesday.

He said China's trade with Russia and Ukraine was respectively 243.03 billion yuan ($38.18 billion) and 29.59 billion yuan during the first quarter. Both figures have increased from a year earlier, he said.
