Joint education valuable in Sino-US cooperation: Envoy

Duke Kunshan University is a cooperative university organized by Wuhan University of China and Duke University of the United States, which began master's degree and undergraduate exchange student education in 2014. Students will receive an academic experience with the same quality as Duke, and a degree from Duke University as well as a degree from Duke Kunshan University upon completing their studies.

In his video message at the 2022 Duke Kunshan University graduation ceremony, Qin said that the university is a valuable attempt at Sino-US educational cooperation and a platform for teachers and students from different countries and cultural backgrounds to mingle their ideas as well as learn from each other.

He noted that human beings have become a community-involved destiny in the current world, and people-to-people exchanges have become a bridge that transcends national boundaries and cultural differences and becomes an eternal driving force for developing country-to-country relations.

Ambassador Qin Gang encouraged the Class of 2022 Duke Kunshan graduates to take their unique advantage as Generation Z, being energetic and passionate, to pursue dreams, achieve self-fulfillment, benefit others and serve as friendship ambassadors between China and the US.
