Have courage and work to develop your own life

A hobby can enrich one's existence and even change one's life situation, and the process of developing it can help build confidence and form a lifelong learning habit.

Starting and developing hobbies often illustrates a person's attitude toward getting out of their current life and breaking the fixed-life mode. People need to constantly learn new things to master their hobbies, generating a great sense of gain in the process.

It's not easy to find and sustain an interest outside of work, especially for those living in first-tier cities, as many people are constantly rushing around in their life and work every day, and tiredness beats their passion for anything else, except rest.

I have planned to learn guitar many times, and even paid money to learn at a music studio. However, for various reasons, I have only attended two classes so far, thus my learning plan has gradually been put on hold.

In addition to allocating precious time, it takes a certain amount of courage to develop your own interests.

Sometimes, the resistance comes from family members, who feel that they only need to perform well in their jobs and there is no need to learn new interests, according to one of the people I interviewed for this article.

"When I gain a sense of achievement from my hobby, I feel that all the efforts I made before have been worthwhile. That helps me hold firm in my attitude to lifelong learning," she said.

I quite agree with the point about lifelong learning. As my interviewee said, "life is a journey of experience", so the more we learn, the more complete and fulfilling our lives will be.

I don't think people should set limits on their lives, but should try to get in touch with new things as much as possible and not give themselves reasons for regret.
