US credit card debts see highest jump in over 20 years

US credit card debt surged by 13 percent in the second quarter, the biggest year-over-year increase in more than 20 years, according to data released Tuesday by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. With mounting inflation, total US household debt reached $16.15 trillion at the end of June.
