Blast rocks Afghanistan's Kabul, leaves no casualty

KABUL -- A bomb blast rocked the Khair Khana area on the northern edge of Kabul city on Saturday, causing no loss of life, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said.

"An explosive device planted next to Abdul Qadir Bidul Lycee School went off today in Police District 11, fortunately left no casualty," Zadran told Xinhua.

This is the second blast in Kabul over the past two days.

In the previous blast which targeted an educational center on Friday, at least 19 persons were killed and 27 others injured.

No group has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack yet.
