Death toll from Afghanistan's suicide blast rises to 35

KABUL -- The death toll from Friday's suicide bomb explosion at a educational center in Kabul has risen to 35 while 82 others were wounded, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said on Saturday.

UN figures showed at least 35 people were killed and 82 other were hurt, with Majority of the casualties being girls and young women, UNAMA said in its statement.

A suicide explosion rocked an education center in a neighbourhood of western Kabul on Friday morning where a large number of students were preparing for an exam.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
