Chinese tech company Lenovo launched its latest server products as part of its broader push to build a digital foundation to help accelerate digital transformation.

Liu Jun, president of Lenovo China, said intelligent transformation will be a sharp tool for Chinese enterprises in the next decade, and the level of intelligent productivity will determine the speed and growth of enterprises' development.

Liu said the launch of Lenovo's server products under the new brand Wentian will help Chinese enterprises to lead the intelligent era with more complete new IT full-stack services.

Liu said last year that Lenovo aims to be the No 1 player in the Chinese server market in about five years, and the company wants to "take the throne" of the local IT service industry in three to four years.

Liu said China is accelerating the development of the digital economy, which will provide big opportunities for Lenovo. The company will enhance its push to pursue innovation-driven development.

Worldwide IT spending is projected to total $4.6 trillion in 2023, an increase of 5.1 percent from 2022, according to the latest forecast by market research company Gartner Inc. Demand for IT in 2023 is expected to be strong as companies push forward with digital business initiatives.
